Why do so many childrens movies feature penguins? Am I the only one bothered by this? I just don't understand it. I HATE penguins.

You cant:

 Hunt them.

Own them.

Shoot them.

Eat them.

And they stare. They are just about the ugliest most useless birds.

I find it disturbing that they are a big part of childrens entertainment.

Thhe nice thing about being on summer vacation is that I have time to watch movies again and actually be able to pay attention without tuning out half of the movie while I work on homework.

Last night a friend brought over Equilibrium, I enjoyed that because it had action and a plot that borrowed heavily from concepts of Huxley and Orwell.

Tuesday night we watched the new Star Trek movie. It was really good and made me wish I remembered more of the other movies.

Last week I was also able to re-connect with The Godfather, I love that series, especially the third one. I think thestoryline is humorous and clever, its very inspiring.

Next weekend I hope to see the fourht installment of The Terminator series; not my favorite but interesting nonetheless.

These articles made me laugh SO hard! Personaly I take a neutral stance on jeans.

However one point I'd like to make is that the new administration  strikes me as being socialist so they should keep denim as the utilitarian uniform for all U.S. citizens once we make the shift to socialism. Jeans for the men and jean jumpers for women -- basiacally universalizing the traditional homeschool uniform.

 

Last night a friend and I succesfully managed to concot a form of plant-based glue.

This glue was special because it was supposed to be mashed potatoes.

We don't know what happened. We think that we might have blended them too long or didnt add any water, we're still trying to figure out where we went wrong.

The sad part is the potatoes looked good and we were unaware of their overly-[asty texture until we shoved HUGE mounds in our mouths. . . resulting in very embarasing attempts to swallow.

This incident has illicited sooo much laughter from family I suspect I will be mocked for awhile.

Next ime I think we'll just roast the potatoes.

 

Twilight is a cult film I refused to watch. Mostly because I'm not into chick flicks and I think the teen vampire scene is weird. However, when I came across this article I couldnt resist the urge to have a little fun..

 

Now, as for point one:"Girls like being ignored". I think the auothor was being sarcasitic. I don't know of anyone female who likes being ignored in any way shape or form.

 

Point two:"Girls like boys who are mysterious" makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Life in itself is mysterious enough without adding some whacked-out guy to the mix.

 

"Girls like boys who talk about their feelings", this may be true to an extenet however, some of us find feelings to be exceedingly annoying and always discussing them a waste of time.

 

"Girls like boys with hair product" this one is valid, the female species puts effort into looking clean so why shouldnt the males???

 

"Girls stammer around boys theyre interested in" this is ludacris, the auothor obviously thinks all girls are blundering and insipid idiots.

 

I'm going to ignore the next two points because they are absurd and irrelevant, not to mention in bad taste.

 

"Girls like boys who can play the piano" true. Why? Because to have that kind of discipline he was probably homeschooled and will be succesful in the future.

 

"Girls like bad boys" this is absurd. The author of tisarticle has either a killer sense of humor or hes extremely deluded and has a very low opinion of females.

 

What prompted a guy to write this kind of article in the first place? Just more proof that Twilight is a waste of time, stupid cult film.
